Victory away from home against Pigs sees BFB crowned champions of Legoland

Black Fortress Barbarians have landed the Serie A title for the first time in the club’s 18 year history after securing a 3-1 victory over Inter Police at the Imperial Stadium. The final whistle sparked wild celebrations in the Barony of the Black Monarch Township in the Castleland Province’s north eastern territories and violent public disorder in the region’s Castle Lion dominated lands by angry supporters of the Lakers.

The final games of the season saw BFB needing just a draw against Inter Police with the chasing duo of Lion Lakers and Legoland United both requiring final round wins in their attempt to secure a championship play-off. Legoland United managed to grab a win over Bulls thanks to strikes from Leper and Samion whilst the Lakers threw it away at Republic with a scoreless draw.

Nevertheless, BFB didn’t give United a chance with goals from Damien Duff, Mesut Ozil and Rafael van der Vaart more than enough to secure the club’s 6th consecutive league win over a truly lacklustre Pigs side. Raul, Inter Police’s star fig this term, did grab a goal for the Pigs but it was all the homeside could muster.

Fans of BFB praised manager Carlo Ancelotti and club patron Claudia The Impatient after the game. “Both are super minifigs, we are very lucky to have them. Let’s hope we will add more silverware now that the duck has broken”, say one delirious supporter.
