BFB in poll position with one game left as the Black Monarch club aims to land first gong

BFB have put one yellow hand on the Serie A league title with nail biting 3-2 win over Castleland United at the Dark Stadium. A capacity crowd exploded in delight as Marcelo Moreno slammed home the 70th minute winner.

The Castleland club had led 2-0 thanks to a brace from Ronnie O’Brien and Sacha Kjlestan but were pegged back either side of the half-time interval as Marouane Chamakh and Ruben Olivera hit the net for the Shields. The win was secured however and BFB now find themselves 3 points ahead of both Lion Lakers and Legoland United.

The gap means that just one point against Inter Police will be required for BFB to ensure themselves the spoils. A defeat coupled with a win for either chasing duo however would ensure the title race goes down to a play-off with the top 2 teams on goal difference battling it out.
