Legoland United give rookie head coach Balleri the dreaded vote of confidence

The board of directors at Legoland United have confirmed that David Balleri will remain on as manager of the club despite picking up a measly 1 point out of a possible 9 so far this season.

Acknowledging that the minifig had to catch up, a statement from the board confirmed they still have patience in the minifig they appointed. Balleri will have a chance to improve his sides fortunes when they host minnows Louisville Minifigs on Saturday and Republic the following Wednesday, two games which would have previously been seen as a guaranteed 6 points in the bag.

Elsewhere, Inter Police boss Arsene Wenger and Verdy’s Albert Celades are also reportedly close to the chop after a disappointing start to the season by both clubs. Fans of the Pigs are understood to be increasingly angry at foreign owner President Brik of the PBR for not adequately replacing Wayne Rooney who was sold to LFC.

Things are very different at Verdy with the club owner King Brunelesky having splashed the cash this pre-season but with little to show for it in terms of results. The newcomers to Serie A may find their debut season a struggle but they have played 3 of the biggest clubs in Inter Police, Magic Wolves and reigning champions Lion Lakers.
