Legoland United Go On Spending Spree After Yet Another Defeat

Legoland United have immediately taken out the chequebook after today’s 2-0 defeat to Juventus saw the club slip to seventh place in the SuperLeague. The Reds have raided Inter Police signing former LFC and Torino great Victor Selvaraj and Inter Police’s ND Land midfielder David Coulibaly. Both have joined for £5m fees.

The aquisition of Selvaraj surprised many as the 36 year old may hang up his boots at the end of the season. United forked out £5m for his services and as part of the deal have allowed super-sub Samion to join the Pigs on loan until the end of the SuperLeague campaign.

The Reds have also signed in Empoli’s promising young defender Andrea Coda for £3m and are currently in talks with Juventus over stars Alessandro Del Piero and Gianluigi Buffon. It is believed that United have had a £15m bid for Del Piero rejected but are in talks to land the duo for £34m.

Making way for the new signings are Florent Malouda and Mark Iuliano. Iuliano has agreed to join Empoli in a £1m deal whilst Malouda has signed for the Pigs after a £2m fee was agreed.
