Ronaldo signs for Legoland FC after penning bumper package worth £3m a year

According to sources close to the president of AS Roma, a deal has been struck between the Roman club and reigning league champions Legoland FC for the transfer of Gardinian international star striker Ronaldo. The forward is understood to have agreed a massive £3m annual salary with the Blues, a pay packet which more than doubles his current wage of £1.3m.

During the transfer talks, held behind closed doors and which have been on and off for the last 3 to 4 weeks, Ronaldo’s salary demands have been a major stumbling block for LFC. LFC manager Claudio Ranieri claimed last week that the Gardinian had demanded £5m per year.

The Legoland Times believes that the final agreed deal now involves both cash payments and the transfer of at least one LFC player. Reports indicate that one of two former Roma players, Luca Mondini and Daniele De Rossi, may now be joining the Giallorossi in addition to up to £11m in cash.

Both Claudio Ranieri and Roma coach Luciano Spaletti refused to comment when asked about the transfer by reporters at Roma’s head office today.
