LFA SuperLeague 2.0 Beta

The LFA SuperLeague 2.0 (CMLFA) is a simulation platform (SIM) utilising the 1990s PC game Championship Manager 97/98 to intelligently simulate match results, team management and transfer dealings. The LFA propose to use the SIM for the 2013/14 and 2014/15 Serie A and Serie B seasons following which an evaluation on the long-term use of the platform will be carried out. The 2013/14 season is already overdue and so will be fast-tracked kicking-off in August and ending shortly thereafter. The 2014/15 season will kick-off following the end of the preceding season and is expected to wrap up at the start of Summer 2015.

The LFA SuperLeague 2.0 Beta (CMBeta) version is the Work-In-Progress SIM platform for the 2013/14 season. The Beta version has been issued by the LFA in advance of the official 2013/14 release to enable owners of Legoland football clubs play around and familiarise themselves with the game before the season gets underway.

The Beta version can of course can be played just for kicks, as a simple game, as can all the future releases of the game. As such throughout these guides it is sometimes simply referred to as ‘the game’.
