Former Legoland United midfielder Ivan De la Pena has said that Atlas Bell should have accepted United’s £14m offer for defender Neven Subotic and owner Genaro Cal needs a “reality check”.
The Reds tabled the bid in the days leading up to new season but the offer was rejected by Bell despite the club being in massive debt.
